The alp strategy has 3 main objectives
1. Growing through deepening
Alp is offering European training course on inclusive leadership and emotional intelligence. In all of these fields there is an ongoing development. The topics Neuroscience, mental health, being an inclusive leader are constantly undergoing new development because of scientific discoveries and people movement, leading to new methods’ development.
In order to keep the quality of the different training offers, there is a need to go deeper into (new) research, content, methods and tools especially in the field of leadership, neuroscience and mental health. The trainers need to learn and exchange with other European training institutes and integrate this knowledge in the existing offers.
This objective is connected to the first need about innovation and quality of the alp offers.
2. Growing in reaching out
Reaching out is meant in two ways. 1) ALP want to reach out to new target groups, in particular to women, who would like to take up their personal leadership role and are in need of change in their life. 2) ALP wants to reach out to new audience through online offers and improved online communication for expanding the current target groups we are working with.
Through the pandemic alp lost some of their on-site participants and started to work online offers. We see that there is a demand on good quality online trainings in topics around leadership, well-being and emotional intelligence. And despite that offers for mental health are needed in society, we are yet not successful with reaching interested target groups.
This objective is linked to the needs of having a high quality online offer and improved communication in reaching out to new target groups.
3. Growing as a team
Growing in followers and numbers of participants leads also to having more trainers (=members) involved in our offers. Further there can be a change in people taking up the different responsibilities in the organisation. New people bring new ideas and it is important that the team is growing together and that all members work on a high standard of professionalism.
The objective is to offer learning opportunities for the entire team. This means to offer a space to learn, to discuss, to develop and grow together. Only if alp builds a strong and creative team that is working together, it can face the challenges which an organisation is currently facing in our society (higher prices, Corona aftermath in particular emotional and psychological needs).
This objective is linked to the need “aligning the organisation”.
