To become a member of alp, you must be in agreement with alp’s mission and goals.

alp is a network
Alp activating leadership potential is a network of professionals, who are passionate about leadership and learning. It is an English-speaking network based in Vienna with branches in UK, Denmark, Malta and Italy. Our members are experts and working as trainers, coaches, consultants and scientists on leadership and related topics.
The leadership we believe in is the one that starts within each of us and is acted out in our daily context, both in formal professional contexts and in informal situations, where our leadership is required. We believe in shared leadership between those involved in a given task.

- To brings together different perspectives and approaches to contribute to leadership development and active citizenship world wide
- To link the expertise between educational research and practice as a basis for innovation and quality development in leadership.

We aim at creating an empowering and caring space, where individuals can regenerate their leadership with curiosity, compassion and courage for bringing a sustainable, innovative and positive change for themselves, their organizations and their communities.
ALP started its work in 2011 in Austria. It has branches in the Denmark, Italy and Malta.
Types of membership
Full membership
It is for experienced trainers, consultants, coaches, scientists, who want to become an active member using and promoting the network.
The benefits of full membership are:
- Develop knowledge on leadership through training, discussion and exchange.
- Receive a regular newsletter with leadership articles and offers
- Participate in the Leadership-retreat regularly held on leadership issues and challenges. It is an opportunity to slow down, learn from each other, reflect together and discuss in an international setting topics emerging around leadership. The retreat itself is self-financed.
- Get to know and exchange with a network of European professionalsHave priority in attending European Seminars organised by alp (first to know about financially supported opportunities).
- Have your personal profile on the alp-website and be seen in the European context.
- Have the possibility to get known an European audience through writing articles in the newsletter and/or blog (in agreement with the board members).
- Possibility to be part of the conceptualisation and implementation of new (leadership) offers.
- Possibility to offer trainings, which are in accordance with the goals of alp network (visible on the website / newsletter)
- possibility to co-operate with alp in conceptualising and implementing European projects.
- Entitled to vote in the annual alp General Assembly.
Entering fees: 250 Euros (paid once)
Yearly fees for 2024 membership: 90 Euros
Associate membership
It is for individuals taking part in the alp seminars and are interested in learning and developing further on the topic of leadership.
The benefits of associate membership are:
- Develop knowledge on leadership through training, discussion and exchange.
- Receive a regular newsletter with leadership articles and offers
- Participate in the Leadership-retreat regularly held on leadership issues and challenges. It is an opportunity to slow down, learn from each other, reflect together and discuss in an international setting topics emerging around leadership. The retreat itself is self-financed.
- No voting rights in the annual alp General Assembly.
Yearly fees for 2024 membership: 90 Euros
